SCIENTIFIC-INFORMATION JOURNAL
In Novgorod State University, on the basis of grant of George Soros “Open Society” Institute, there is established an electronic scientific and informational journal “The Novgorod University Scientific Papers” to be distributed in computer net “Internet”.
Novgorod University consisting of four institutes (Humanities, Medical, Teachers Training Education, Economics and Administration), Academy of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and technological faculties, trains specialists in more then 50 specialities; it has the wide net of training the high qualification scientific workers, with more then 100 doctors of science, professors participating.
Establishing the electronic journal will contribute to development of scientific researches, educational and cultural links. In journal first issues there are presented the leading scientists of our university, as well as articles and original results of researches of teachers, post-graduates and students.
We do hope that works published in the journal will evoke an interest both in Russia, and abroad.
