The Importance Of My Future Career

What made the final decision for the career you chose for yourself? Is it something you are passionate about doing? Was it the money? Well what if you could take an assessment test of your skills and see what career would be best for you? You don’t want to be stuck doing a job that you do not enjoy because you thought it paid well. After exploring two very different careers, it was interesting to see what I found. A Business Executive and an art therapist have very little in common.

This essay is a comprehensive look at my future career and leadership goals. It utilizes all the work that I have completed during my internship, and required that I truly look at the usefulness of reflective thinking as an administrator. Likewise, this paper examines the benefits and drawbacks of the impact of reflections on my personal leadership as a future educational administrator. Moreover, this essay examines the affect that reflections can have on my future leadership goals, and how the practice of reflexive learning will led to future growth. Ultimately leading to a fulfilment of the leadership and career goal that I seek.

Good jobs for psychology majors are available for those who have earned a bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree. Psychology courses train individuals to work effectively with others, conduct tests and assessments and correct behavioral problems. There are opportunities for psychology majors to work in clinics, schools, early childhood centers, business, health clinics, hospitals and correctional institutions.

Life goes on as well as we moving on, in order to live a happy life, money, passion, happiness and the meaning of it are essential keys. Among thousands of jobs and over billions of people, having a career or achieving a job is not only important but also competitive. Therefore, deciding what you are going to become has always been the toughest decision in life. I am not talking about Mozart, who was born to play and compose music, or Cristiano Ronaldo who decided to pursue for his career as a football player at the age of 14. I am talking about me and my just-found-out-career in a couple hours earlier, Nursing.

It is vital when looking for a new job or career that you know what skills and qualities you have. Knowing what you can or cannot do will alter what employers and positions there are for you. Throughout my higher education at Full Sail University, I have been able to overcome weaknesses that I have and raised other strengths beyond what I thought I could. Matching what you are good at and not so good at can help shape what your life path will be. Looking deeper into my personal capabilities, I have discovered three strengths and three weaknesses that I have and I’m working on eliminating or improving. If you are not good at something, improving even slightly can have a nice positive impact on your overall quality of life at work and at home.

At the age of 6, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and became interested in the nursing field. As a kid, I was always happy when my grandfather 's nurse would come over to care for his wounds, because I knew that her good spirits and good care always made him feel better. I believe this is the reason why I did not grow up fearing the doctor’s office, instead I grew up associating the doctor’s office as a place that made people feel better. As a certified medical assistant I’ve had an impact in patient’s care and as a future nurse I want to continue to provide the best patient care that my grandfather once received.

My high school psychology course intrigued my desire to pursue psychology in college and the courses offered at State University furthermore solidified my interest to continue in this field. I took a particular interest in theories of personality and upon completing cognitive psychology, I wish to obtain a clinical neuropsychology certificate in conjunction with a doctor of psychology in clinical psychology.

Thinking and discussing about our future and career path is a common topic that often occurs in any school-like setting, but can still be considered taboo to anyone who does not know what they would like to do with their lives, such as myself. The future is still quite broad and unknown, yet I am excited to discover what I will make myself capable of doing in order to thrive and enjoy my future. Although I do have an idea of what I would like to pursue, which is art, my results on the major and career assessment help in further convincing me that the art-field is meant to be the field most suitable for me although it does depict some exceptions.

As my junior year comes to an end, the time for looking into my future begins. The process for a high school student trying to figure out where they want to go to college and what choices they have for careers and their future can be made much easier by simply doing extensive research. I have looked into multiple colleges and a couple careers I believe I would excel in and enjoy to make sure I am making the right decisions about my future. I have done extensive research on the colleges I am considering, including Kaplan University, The Art Institutes and Sinclair Community College. I have also done extensive research on being a photographer and on being a social worker so that I could consider these occupations for my future career.

What do you want to be when you grow up? This question is posed in every part of our childhood and adolescent life. This question is asked by teachers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and our parents alike. Everyone wants to know what you want to be. Is it a ballerina? A police officer? A doctor? A lawyer? A city office worker? As the question is asked by different people so are the choices of career we choose along the way. I had my mind made up when I was in primary school and despite the ups and downs known as life, I continue to work towards that goal.

Earning a degree is a great step into fulfilling career goals and a pathway towards success. Nearly every successful career requires an employee to have specific knowledge, education, or a degree. Once you obtain a degree in higher education, career goals and options increase significantly. Setting career goals allows for extraordinary success and earning a college degree opens many windows of opportunities in life.

I, Kapil Aggarwal, a final year student doing Bachelor of Technology in Pulp and Paper Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. In this essay I am going to focus on the incentives that stimulate me to pursue further studies and the motives behind my choice of University of Warwick as well as my future career objectives.

Career management can be described as the conscious planning of an individual’s activities and engagements in the jobs they may take in the course of his or her life for better fulfillment, growth, and financial stability (Stroud, 2017). Career management can also be thought of as more or less like organizational management, as it is essentially an assortment of individual who are working toward short-term and long-term goals. In like manner, Noe (2013), suggests that career paths can help companies offer various career options to their employees to help them select the best job choices that fit their lifestyles.

During childhood many people are hopeful and optimistic with ways to pursue their dream. Reality sets in the early stage of adulthood. It is difficult to juggle the life factors of school, work, family and career progression all at once. This is the case for many of people that realise that they are not in the job they want to be in permanently. Career progression is essential for a better quality of life that leads to the self satisfaction of achieving such goals.
