3.) The statement, “I create my own truth. What I believe to be true is true for me” is based on the illogical belief that all truth is subjective and that thinking something is true makes it true. There are many people who hold that view, and maybe some truths are subjective, but that doesn’t mean that people go around creating their own truths. If the above statement is logical, and truth is entirely subjective, I could jump out of an airplane without a parachute and say “I have a parachute” and land on the earth safe and unharmed. Of course that is not the case and obviously, there are some truths that are concrete and not subjective.
