I remember, I remember as if it had happened yesterday.

We were called to go fight, Go to Europe and liberate.

I remember these words clearly in my mind.

On foreign soil we marched, marched until we ached

For people tht needed us, we did not hesitate.

Some of us were not so lucky, I remember so clearly,

they died for the sake of others, they paid oh so dearly.
