В Федеральный перечень учебников, рекомендованных (допущенных) Министерством образования и науки Российской федерации к использованию в образовательном процессе в общеобразовательных учреждениях на 2009/2010 учебный год, включены следующие завершенные линии учебников английского языка:

Выбор конкретной линии УМК осуществляется в зависимости от предпочтений педагогического коллектива.

Для данного проекта мы рекомендуем к использованию два рекомендованных Министерством образования и науки РФ учебно-методических комплекса:

1. Комплект учебников «Русский язык» для 5-9 классов (Авторы Разумовская М.М. и другие) (Издательство «Дрофа»):

– 5 класс: Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. Английский язык

– 6 класс: Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. Английский язык

– 7 класс: Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. Английский язык

– 8 класс: Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. Английский язык

– 9 класс: Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. Английский язык

Серия рассчитана на использование в различных типах общеобразовательных учреждений, где согласно учебным планам на изучение английского языка отводится не более 3 часов в неделю и где учащиеся приступают к овладению основами иностранного языка примерно в 10-12-летнем возрасте. Она может быть также предложена для тех школ (классов), где английский преподается как второй иностранный язык.
Все компоненты УМК взаимозависимы и дополняют друг друга.
Предлагаемые УМК отвечают требованиям государственного образовательного стандарта, в большой степени отражают реалии одной из стран изучаемого языка — Великобритании, в своей основе ориентируются на основные характеристики современного учебника иностранного языка (см.: Бим И. Л. и др. К проблеме оценивания современного учебника английского языка // ИЯШ. 1999. № 6. С. 13-17).
Авторы сочли возможным определенным образом изменить традиционное распределение базисного грамматического материала по годам обучения, считая основной задачей первого УМК тщательную отработку предлагаемых лексико-грамматических структур и навыков чтения, что может быть освоено учащимися за счет несколько более сниженного темпа введения нового грамматического материала.
Учебник «Новый курс английского языка для российских школ» О. В. Афанасьевой и И. В. Михеевой полностью соответствует федеральному компоненту Государственного стандарта среднего (полного) общего образования по английскому языку и Федеральному базисному учебному плану, включен в Федеральный перечень учебников, рекомендованных (допущенных) к использованию в образовательном процессе в ОУ на 2008-2009 учебный год.

В учебнике в полной мере соблюдены условия доступности учебного материала для учащихся 5 классов с учетом их психологических особенностей и уровня их развития.

Оптимальное сочетание теоретического и практического материала делает возможным быстрый переход от объяснения нового материала к его практическому применению, что позволяет достигать высоких результатов в процессе обучения. Следует отметить, что учебник и рабочая тетрадь содержат большое количество упражнений на закрепление изученного материала. Таким образом, учитель имеет возможность выбирать задания по своему усмотрению. Важным достоинством учебника является высокое качество подбора языкового материала, его соответствие современным языковым и грамматическим нормам, высокое полиграфическое качество печати текста и иллюстраций учебника.

Авторами достигнута высокая степень методической целесообразности выбранной последовательности и способа подачи учебного материала, а также системность, логичность и последовательность в его изложении.

В учебнике нашло отражение изменение парадигмы образования в нашей стране в последние годы — перенос акцента учебных целей на коммуникативные и развивающие. Излагаемый учебный материал направлен в первую очередь на развитие творческих способностей учащихся, умений самообразования, на формирование стойкого интереса к английскому языку и навыков практического применения полученных знаний. Этой цели служат глубоко продуманные системы упражнений, структурированность учебного материала, разбиение его на шаги, богатая иллюстративность. Учебник предоставляет учащемуся прекрасные возможности для самостоятельной работы. Кроме того, проблемная формулировка заданий учит учащихся работать с информацией и самостоятельно добывать знания. Задания рубрики «Проектная работа» помогают расширить знания учащихся о странах изучаемого языка, английском языке и развить творческие способности.

В то же время целесообразно дополнить учебник мультимедийными материалами на CD (это особенно важно для погружения учащихся в иноязычную среду). Эта проблема также эффективно может быть решена организацией богатого содержанием сайта. В ходе эксперимента к учебно-методическому комплекту мною были созданы электронные приложения (кроссворды, упражнения и тесты) на основе программы Hot Potatoes.

Рабочая тетрадь предлагает систему проверочных заданий для организации самостоятельной работы учеников и навыков самоконтроля. Задания составлены таким образом, что правильность выполнения каждого из них может быть проверена и оценена самими учащимися.

В Книге для учителя имеется важная для учителя информация об основных направлениях обучения английскому языку, характеризуется методическая система, заложенная в учебнике, предлагается краткий комментарий по каждой теме с описанием ее лингвистических и методических аспектов, даются конкретные советы по изучению наиболее сложных тем курса. Содержатся также описание системы упражнений, рекомендации по оценке письменных работ.

Кроме этого, в УМК входит серия пособий для учащихся и учителей . Данные пособия помогают реализовать основные идеи курса, организовать эффективную работу на уроке и дома: Книга для чтения, Звуковое пособие .

Считаем целесообразным использование следующих инновационных форм организации учебного процесса: дистанционное обучение, модульное преподавание предмета, поточное преподавание предмета.

Дистанционное обучение

Данную форму организации учебного процесса по предмету «Иностранный язык» считаем наиболее приемлемой при условии высокой материальной оснащенности как базовых школ, так и филиалов (работают современные компьютерные классы с выходом в Интернет). В этом случае можно организовать качественный учебный процесс без подвоза учащихся из филиалов в базовые школы.

Учебный процесс как в базовых школах, так и в филиалах может быть организован также с помощью Интернет-ресурсов, которые позволят качественно (в этом случае самостоятельно, без участия ПГУ) обучать школьников Пермского края английскому языку. Среди этих ресурсов назовем хотя бы некоторые.

Обучение в форме образовательных потоков

По иностранному языку совместное обучение учащихся двух и более классов одной параллели (потоками) не является целесообразным.

В частично-поточной форме организации обучения иностранному языку совместные занятия целесообразно использовать по отдельным темам и для отдельных видов деятельности. Например:

– лекционное изложение лингвострановедческой темы;

– просмотр фильмов и другой видеопродукции;

– занятия в игровой и соревновательной форме (деловые игры);

– письменные контрольные мероприятия;

– презентация учебных проектов и результатов исследовательской работы и т.д.
